Brand Identity and Typeface Design for Hammer and Hope Magazine

Morcos Key collaborated with the editorial team of Hammer and Hope, a free magazine on politics and culture in the Black radical tradition, to develop its name, brand strategy, visual identity, custom typeface, and website. The design draws from the symbolism of struggle and hope, featuring a bold monospaced typeface with distinctive half-spaced gaps that unify the magazine’s voice and convey authenticity and strength.
