Crocs helped mainstream the customization trend—Birkenstock’s “Your Blank Canvas” is its answer, positioning personalization as a premium, heritage-aligned experience instead of a novelty.
Kit Studio built a full identity system for the platform—playful mascots, a bespoke typeface, and vibrant, organic visuals—so each custom outcome feels individual while still recognizably Birkenstock.
Motion design is central: dynamic animations and shifting graphic elements reinforce the “blank canvas” concept and make the act of customizing feel energetic and tactile, not static ecommerce.
The design balances opposites on purpose—playful and iconic, custom and consistent—using a cohesive type and mascot-led visual language to keep many user-made variations inside one brand world.
