Editorial Design for the Alec Gill Hessle Road Photo Archive

HONDO designed an award-winning photobook documenting Alec Gill’s 1971–87 photographic study of Hull’s Hessle Road fishing community. The book uses a dynamic sequence, three paper stocks, six Pantone inks, Swiss binding, and duotone image printing to preserve and contextualise the rescued negatives.
