Gijs Lammers

Gijs Lammers is a freelance design director based in Amsterdam, working with brands and agencies on identity, design and creative direction. His practice combines hands-on design with leading collaborators, developing visual systems that balance structure with expressive character. His portfolio spans brand identities, editorial projects, art direction and communication design. Selected work includes Alyx, Gaiyo, Flowerboy and Arthur Apparel, alongside the Picnics in Paradise book and work for the Coba de Groot Foundation. Collaboration is central to his approach, with individual project credits identifying the agencies, strategists, writers, illustrators and other specialists involved.
