Main Title Film for Forward Festival
Coanda becomes a modular mechanism for Forward Festival’s title film.
Found Studio partnered with Forward Festival to create its 2021 invitation and main title film, “Threshold.” Responding to the festival’s theme of life becoming virtualised and digitised, the film examines the boundary between real and virtual spaces encountered through video calls and gaming environments. Its sequence uses Co-Type’s Coanda, broken into a modular system of horizontal, vertical and diagonal strokes that assemble rapidly into complete typographic forms.
