Foreign National is a New York creative studio directed by Noah Phillips, working across brand identity, advertising, furniture and domestic objects. Its practice brings together commissioned work and self-initiated products, with a modernist approach and a sense of humour. Phillips is a Canadian-born creative director, designer and copywriter whose background includes Wieden+Kennedy, the launch of Viceland and creative direction for the MTV Movie Awards. The studio’s Honey Department project combines product development with naming, visual identity, packaging, a website and advertising.
