Expanded Motion System For Utah Jazz 50th Season

Studio Dumbar/DEPT® collaborated with the Utah Jazz to evolve their motion identity in celebration of the team’s 50th season. Drawing from decades of visual heritage, the studio created a dynamic motion system inspired by jazz rhythms and the energy of basketball, featuring kinetic typography, 3D textures, and sound-reactive animations.
