Cookbook Design for Chef Sandy Ho

BonTemps designed and creatively directed Cooking Notes Vol. II, a self-published cookbook by chef Sandy Ho, and directed its photography. The book traces Ho’s connection to water through recipes and cooking notes, using airier layouts, transparent pages, handwritten notes, and an intuitive rather than strict grid. Film photography by Drew Escriva focuses on ingredients, cooking processes, and atmospheric details; one spread pairs poached black cod with water moving across sand. The small-run edition was produced as a hardcover.
