Book Design For Jenny Saville Exhibition

Atelier Dyakova designed a publication to accompany painter Jenny Saville’s exhibition at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. The book’s layout reflects the tension between classical figuration and modern abstraction, using a calligraphic serif typeface, sculpted white space, and full-bleed artworks to convey the monumental presence of Saville’s paintings. A delicate bible paper jacket contrasts the bold interior compositions.
