Visual Identity for Tea Bar & Bites
A familiar café becomes its own sourcebook for a new identity.
Alltrue created a visual identity for Tea Bar & Bites, a longstanding neighborhood cafe in Springfield's Rountree area, following a change in ownership. The system draws on the cafe's Spanish Revival building, facade lettering, patterned table linens, and antique tea ware across menus, signage, packaging, merchandise, and social graphics.

- All True based the café’s symbol on its Spanish Revival building, making the familiar silhouette part of the identity.
- The wordmark draws on the facade’s El Patio lettering and Art Deco-inspired typography associated with vintage tea brands.
- A library of patterns translates the changing combinations of tablecloths, runners and antique tea ware into social graphics and other applications.
- Menus, merchandise and window signs vary in character to continue the café’s collected-over-time atmosphere; the studio wanted the new pieces to feel at home in the existing space.
