In their own words
We wanted to demonstrate how Cavalry can be used to build branded creative tools.
Being in touch with the Cavalry team and being able to cooperate with them and also suggest what features to build next was fundamental to make this happen.
Instead of giving full control over every detail, we decided to simplify the UI as much as possible.
After a bit of trial and error, we started playing with the typical arches that build the marble façades and we found it an interesting element to play with, by stretching and deforming it in animation.
Gradients animate vertically too, to maintain the connection with the metaphor of the sky.
With just a very basic knowledge of Figma, anyone can create all the videos their team needs in minutes.

- The motion design bottleneck is real... and Typeflow by Algo studio might be the answer
Creative Boom’s article by Tom May explores Typeflow, a new web-based motion design tool created by Algo using Cavalry’s procedural animation engine. The project demonstrates how branded creative tools can empower non-specialists to produce on-brand motion content while easing the workload of motion designers. Featuring collaborations with several Cavalry artists, Typeflow showcases the potential of procedural, browser-based animation systems for scalable brand consistency.
- Algo’s Typeflow makes procedural type animation free and browser-based
The Brand Identity features Algo’s launch of Typeflow, a free browser-based app for procedural typographic animation built using Cavalry’s new Web Player. The project demonstrates the potential of professional motion design tools in a web environment and showcases collaborations with several motion artists. It highlights the growing influence of Cavalry’s data-driven, node-based workflow and its emerging aesthetic in digital motion design.
- Algo Defines Techtalia 2024 Identity with Inspired Florentine Design
Turin-based studio Algo designed the identity for Techtalia 2024, drawing inspiration from Florence’s architecture and sky. The minimalist, gradient-filled system uses animated arches and time-based color palettes to evoke the city’s light throughout the day. The project leveraged Algo’s Figma plug-in for rapid, accessible motion design and was completed in four weeks.
