Mucho repositioned Alianza Editorial as Alianza, giving the Spanish publishing house a broader role as a cultural brand. The project addresses a gap between its established reputation and a catalogue spanning classics, contemporary voices and emerging ideas. Removing Editorial from the name preserves recognition while opening the brand to connections between people, generations and ideas. An open A anchors the new identity, supported by a consistent visual and editorial system. Mucho also reconsidered the naming and design of the collections to help readers navigate the catalogue and connect individual books to the masterbrand. The art direction builds on Alianza’s book-cover legacy, associated with Daniel Gil, while introducing collaborations with Javier Jaén, Lo Siento and other creators. Covers become spaces for visual experimentation, treating each book as both a designed object and a platform for ideas.
