Product Designer (Milan)

How you’ll contribute

We are a mission-driven company, so passion for what we do and our mission is key. At a high level, the role encompasses three areas:

- Design: You’ll sit at the intersection of Design and Product, playing a key role in the end-to-end design and evolution of the Eight Sleep app. Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of product design, from information architecture and low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity mockups, and everything in-between.

- Validate: You’ll conduct usability studies and user interviews to inform design work, and work closely with our in-house customer discovery squad. You’ll use data to inform the success or failure of the design.

- Iterate: You’ll combine qualitative and quantitative customer insights to make design decisions that improve our app experience, reduce churn, and increase engagement.

Some other details about the role:

- You’ll work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver captivating user experiences that increase membership value and support hardware innovations

- You’ll build, document, and organize the UI components of our design library and system to drive consistency across our app and the rest of the brand

- You’ll align with Product and Brand stakeholders and clearly present design updates to C-suite leadership for feedback and approval

- You’ll serve as the subject matter expert responsible for app design patterns and interactions - including researching and staying up-to-date on emerging mobile design trends and best practices

- You’ll collaborate closely with the Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to ship world class products and features
