Ouvrières

Ouvrières is a variable typeface designed by Laure Azizi in 2023 and released by Velvetyne in 2024. Its organic letterforms are assembled from ant-like shapes, with two variable axes producing six weights. Developed during a variable-type workshop led by Eugénie Bidaut at La Cambre in Brussels, the family includes animated glyphs, ligatures and inclusive ligatures.
