NJR developed the Building Blocks for Youth Participation to help policymakers and organizations involve young people in meaningful ways. The agency was asked to create a platform that goes beyond inspiration by revealing the complexity, friction, and trade-offs involved in real youth participation. Using the Rubik’s Cube as a core concept, the agency designed an interactive website that encourages exploration, play, and action through dynamic navigation. The platform turns abstract principles into a practical and engaging tool, helping policymakers better understand participation and giving them resources to create change together with young people.
