What is D1S1 Design Spotlight?

A curated platform tracking new design cases from top studios worldwide, automatically updated several times daily. It includes a searchable archive of over 18,600 cases from nearly 400 studios across 121 cities.

How is this different from Behance or Dribbble?

D1S1 is studio-focused, not individual-focused. We track the work of established design studios and agencies, not individual portfolios. Everything is curated for quality, so you're not sifting through noise.

How often is content updated?

Multiple times per day. Our system automatically checks for new cases from tracked studios, and everything gets curated before appearing on the site.

Is registration required?

You can browse limited content without an account. Registration is free (via Google sign-in) and gives you access to the last 7 days of cases, the studio directory, collections, and a preview of explore results. For full access to the archive, all studio cases, and the client database, check out our subscription plans.

What are Collections?

Collections let you save cases to organized folders. Create public collections to share with others, or keep them private for your own reference. Access your collections at /saved or share via your public profile. Collections are available on the Pro plan.

How do I save a case?

Click the heart icon on any case card or the "Save" button on a case page. You can save to your default Favorites or choose a specific collection.

How are studios selected?

We curate studios based on their portfolio quality, industry recognition, and consistent output of innovative work.

Can I suggest a studio?

Yes, we welcome suggestions. Contact us via the account profile or at anton@partdirector.ch with the studio's details for consideration.

How do I search for specific types of work?

Use the Explore section to filter cases by tags (visual and conceptual), work type (brand identity, packaging, web design, etc.), or industry (technology, entertainment, food & beverage, etc.).

Can I filter studios by technology?

Yes. You can filter studios by their website platform: Framer, Next.js, Webflow, Squarespace, Semplice, WordPress, and more.

Do you offer notifications?

Follow our Telegram channel for instant updates on new featured cases.

Is there a mobile app?

Currently, D1S1 Design Spotlight is web-based. The site is fully responsive for mobile devices.

How is my privacy protected?

We use Fathom Analytics for privacy-friendly tracking (no cookies, GDPR compliant). Your collections can be private or public, you control visibility.
