Animated Music Video For Zzk Records

TheLittleLabs created animation for ZZK Records’ music video “Malvada” by Nuevos Ríos, translating bold static compositions by Thomas Deude into motion. The animation responds directly to marimba, percussion, and layered voices rooted in Afro-Colombian Pacific traditions, shaping timing, acceleration, pauses, scale, density, and flow. The goal was to amplify the track’s collective energy without overpowering it, delivering rhythm, intensity, and clarity on a fast, focused production timeline. Each element was treated like an instrument within the composition, allowing visuals to rise, collide, and resolve in sync with the music’s pulse. The project was developed in close collaboration with ZZK Records and contributing artists, emphasizing trust, alignment, and a shared creative language.
