Machine Learning Installation For The Los Angeles Philharmonic

Refik Anadol Studio collaborated with the Los Angeles Philharmonic to celebrate its 100th anniversary through an immersive public art installation at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Using machine learning to process over 45 terabytes of archival data, the team created dynamic data sculptures projected onto the building’s exterior, visualizing the orchestra’s century-long history. The project explored the intersection of architecture, memory, and artificial intelligence.
