A/v Installation For Artechouse New York

Machine Hallucination is an immersive A/V installation by Refik Anadol Studio that transforms over 100 million publicly shared images of New York City into a data-driven cinematic experience. Using machine learning, the project visualizes the city’s collective memories in 16K resolution, exploring the intersection of human perception and artificial intelligence. The work reimagines urban memory as a living, evolving consciousness through algorithmic storytelling.
