Pengguin created an original New Year’s card for Takeo Paper’s 21st annual New Year’s Card Exhibition, a longstanding event in Japan’s design community. The project explored the expressive potential of paper, printing techniques, and tactile form to deliver a personal message for the year ahead. Pengguin combined layered composition, narrative thinking, and experimental yet communicative execution to produce a greeting card that celebrated renewal and the material beauty of paper. The work was exhibited alongside 99 other cards in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
