Launch Film For Playstation

Panoply created a launch film for Defiant, PlayStation’s new fight stick controller, in collaboration with Whitewood Design. The film captures the spirit of competition and the pulse of arcade culture, drawing from 80s neon arcades and voxel game worlds. Panoply developed a bold visual language that bridges retro inspiration with contemporary PlayStation energy, positioning the controller within gaming heritage while keeping it fresh and current. Design and direction were led by Panoply, with creative direction by Whitewood Design, for client PlayStation.
