Speculative Interface Design For Connected Homes

Modem collaborated with MIT researcher Yujie Wang and speculative designer Bram Fritz to explore how digital interfaces could integrate more naturally into domestic environments. The project, Ambient Interfaces, proposes mindful, sensorial, and adaptive alternatives to screen-based interactions, envisioning a home that responds subtly to human presence and emotion.
