Geist
Geist is a digital brand studio in Portland, founded around the relationship between how a brand expresses itself and how its products behave. Its partners bring experience from digital agencies, combining research and positioning with visual and verbal identity, art direction, motion and UX/UI design. The studio builds systems that connect marketing and product interfaces, aiming to make technology more approachable through both useful interactions and distinctive expression. Its work includes brand and digital design for Anthropic, an identity and website for foodservice automation company Hyphen, and a refreshed brand and digital experience for Outschool. Websites, mobile apps and prototypes form part of the same practice.
