Brand Strategy For A New Arts Festival

Clear played a crucial role in establishing the foundations of the Rising Festival, a new major arts event in Melbourne. This festival replaces the Melbourne International Arts and White Night Festivals and aims to become the largest arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere. Through a series of collaborative brand workshops, Clear worked alongside the Festival Directors, internal team, and key stakeholders, including Visit Victoria and Creative Victoria. Together, they developed the brand strategy, which encompassed the festival's identity, inclusive messaging, and reflection of Melbourne's evolving demographics while honoring the local arts community. The inaugural Rising festival is set to launch in May 2021, inviting artists from Victoria to share their bold and innovative artistic visions.
