Animated Short Film for Riot Games Lunar New Year

BUCK created a handcrafted short film for Riot Games to celebrate Lunar New Year across its titles League of Legends, Wild Rift, and Teamfight Tactics. The film uses layered paper-cut aesthetics and tactile textures to evoke the charm of traditional craftsmanship while maintaining a sense of realism and warmth. Despite a tight timeline, the team delivered a visually rich and emotionally resonant piece that captures the festive spirit of the occasion.
