AREA 17 reinvented The New York Times Company’s corporate digital presence for the digital age. The work combined a refreshed brand vision, modular design system, and corporate website redesign to reflect the company’s evolution from a newspaper publisher into a diversified global media business. AREA 17 also created internal platforms, At The Times and Times Central, to improve communication, knowledge sharing, and organizational cohesion. In addition, the studio extended the ecosystem with NYT Events, supporting live and virtual programming that deepens audience engagement and trust. Across all touchpoints, the project emphasized transparency, journalistic integrity, adaptability, and the people behind the institution.
