AREA 17 partnered with the International Energy Agency to reposition the organization from an oil-security authority to a visible leader in clean energy transition. The work combined brand strategy, a new visual and verbal identity, and a digital-first platform that makes energy insights more accessible to policymakers, industries, and the public. AREA 17 built a dynamic publishing environment using Twill CMS and integrated data APIs to support real-time articles, dashboards, and editorial hubs. The team also streamlined data exploration and purchasing into a self-serve platform with custom licensing and simplified checkout. Interactive features and short-form educational content helped broaden the agency’s reach beyond experts. The result was a more agile publishing system, stronger public visibility, and significant audience growth.
