Studio Andrew Howard created the editorial design for Ersatz, the journal of the Portuguese Centre for Photography. The publication featured essays, reviews, and exhibition coverage on photography and visual culture, running for twelve issues between 1999 and 2004. The design balanced intellectual depth with a clean, structured layout that reflected the publication’s cultural focus.
