Digital Rollout Experience for Jordan X Free the Youth
Why is checkout part of the Arena of Flight?
Analogue created an unconventional digital rollout and ecommerce experience for Free The Youth's collaboration with Jordan. Set in the campaign world of the Arena of Flight, the webshop combines custom motion, graphics, transitions and product storytelling to make purchasing part of the sneaker-drop experience.
Insights- Analogue made ecommerce part of the campaign rather than a separate checkout layer: its UI/UX and motion system turned the 2026 Jordan × Free The Youth webshop into an extension of the Arena of Flight.
- The storefront carried the campaign’s colors, graphic language, bespoke transitions, and motion behaviors into the buying flow. Products sat directly inside the narrative environment, so purchasing became another campaign scene.
- Free The Youth’s cultural positioning matters to the story: it’s a Ghanaian collective that started by promoting African artwork before becoming a fashion label and creative agency, and campaign coverage describes the team as “cultural stuntmen,” linking flight to resourcefulness, courage, improvisation, and community.
- The physical campaign work reinforced that same handmade energy, with hand-drawn, hand-painted, and hand-sculpted sets inspired by Ghanaian architecture, traditional prints, and Tema; photography was by Ilya Chemetoff, with production by Division Global and video by Red Lebanese and Red Expanse.
