Handcrafted Animation Film For Ukrainian Folk Song Celebration

AKQA collaborated with Ukrainian artists Mariia and Rodion Shub to create 'Little Wings', a handcrafted 2D animation inspired by the traditional Ukrainian folk song Shchedryk, known globally as 'Carol of the Bells'. The film celebrates the song’s centennial at Carnegie Hall, blending traditional painting and digital techniques to share a message of hope and renewal from Ukraine to the world.
