Exhibition Identity And Publication Design For Inside: Artists & Writers In Reading Prison

A Practice for Everyday Life created the visual identity and companion publication for Artangel’s exhibition Inside: Artists & Writers in Reading Prison. Drawing from the prison’s Victorian architecture and history, the design features imposing custom lettering, duotone imagery, and materials that evoke themes of isolation and confinement. The project encompassed exhibition graphics, signage, printed materials, and a detailed guide book documenting the artworks and the site’s legacy.
