Book Design For Graham Little: Inside The Water Sleep

A Practice for Everyday Life designed a monograph for artist Graham Little, published by Alison Jacques Gallery to accompany his 2019 exhibition. The design juxtaposes a re-drawn, imperfect title type with a refined serif body type, reflecting the tension between precision and imperfection in Little’s work. Layouts draw inspiration from 1970s and 80s hobbyist magazines, creating an editorial and tactile reading experience.
