Book Design For Giuseppe Penone: Spazio Di Luce

A Practice for Everyday Life designed a publication for Whitechapel Gallery to accompany Giuseppe Penone’s 2012 exhibition, Spazio di Luce. The design balances minimal and tactile qualities, featuring uncoated paper that ages with use and a 1:1 scale etching of the artist’s thumbprint on the cover. A fold-out format accommodates a panoramic installation image of Penone’s sculptural work.
