In their own words
Rather than being fixed, the grid adapts to the proportions of each piece, responding to the dimensions of different print and digital formats.
Conceptually, the images moving in and out of the grid reflect the exhibited designers pushing beyond traditional structures in society, whether related to class, race or other systems of power.
Early on in the conceptual phase of the process, we arrived at euphoria as a shared feeling when runners experience a ‘high’ and when ravers are lost in the music while dancing.
We decided to translate this shared sensation of getting lost into the art direction, bringing in cloudy, milky visuals to symbolise the distant world we mentally escape to in either state of mind.
The founders of Running Order loved how the wordmark has an extended length that is reminiscent of a moving body caught mid-air or mid-motion.

- Studio Loutsis builds a 12-part grid from an exhibition’s roster
Studio Loutsis developed a flexible 12-part grid identity for OUTSIDE/IN, an exhibition presented by Hello Human and Lyle Gallery during NYCxDesign 2025. The system reflects the exhibition’s themes of belonging and visibility, adapting across print and digital formats while symbolizing designers’ boundary-crossing practices. The identity uses the Dédale typeface, a diverse color palette, and cohesive applications spanning posters, postcards, and signage.
- How do running and raving come together? Studio Loutsis had some ideas for Running Order’s RUN2RAVE
Studio Loutsis created the brand identity for Running Order’s RUN2RAVE, an 8k run that transitions into a rave. The design explores the shared euphoria between running and raving through hazy visuals, a custom wordmark, and dynamic typography. The identity adapts across global editions with distinct color palettes for each city.
