In their own words
The main reason for choosing an open source font was to guarantee consistency of look for the brand.
The angle of the second ‘M’ has the purpose to remove the rigidity and provide a sense of flexibility and ease.
When we explored the colour palette we weren’t looking for something that just looked good but for a palette with purpose.
By observing the interior palette we noticed a series of simple geometric shapes coming to life.
We fell instantly in love with Cucina (also Italian for ‘kitchen’)... the right vehicle for visually delivering the craft and quality of the traditional Italian, locally-sourced ingredients.
I felt the concept married nicely with the interior design direction we were taking.
