It’s pretty great to be able to educate clients.
The symbol is always being used together with a QR code.
They are loosely connected to the episodes; there’s, for example, one episode called ‘white water,’ about the sea; we picked a nautilus to visualise it.
It’s inspired by a cassette tape, where the tape goes in a loop; it is also a little bit inspired by an infinity-symbol, counteracting the idea of a limited archive.
The Brand Identity interviews Maximilian Mauracher, co-founder of Berlin-based studio NEW STANDARD.S, about how design can contribute to the fight against climate change. He discusses the studio’s sustainable approach, their redesign of the Green Dot symbol to include a QR code for transparency, and the importance of rethinking design processes to minimize environmental impact.
Designers Maximilian Mauracher and David Rindlisbacher created a modular, imagery-led identity for /100, an experimental online radio project founded by Felipe Duque. The visual system uses outlined 3D illustrations and a gridded, archival aesthetic to make sound tangible, supported by Neue Haas Grotesk and Swiss 721 typefaces. The identity’s looping logo references cassette tapes and infinity, reflecting the project’s conceptual depth.
