The EO identity was created in-house in collaboration with an external agency, but the project was an exercise in adapting EO’s existing asset system to make it more suited to a cohesive packaging system.
Creating a cohesive grid system created a balanced form across the carton and sleeve.
The addition of 1:1 scaled line drawings of the charging units was really a device that paid homage to the meticulous detail the EO product and engineering team put into their products.

Human Resources designed a minimalist and transparent brand identity for Edinburgh-based Obadiah Coffee, reflecting the roaster’s commitment to simplicity and sustainability. The identity uses locally inspired typefaces Founders Grotesk and Triptych, and packaging made from G . F Smith Extract paper recycled from coffee cups. The design balances clarity and warmth, with subtle color variations for seasonal releases.
