The EO identity was created in-house in collaboration with an external agency, but the project was an exercise in adapting EO’s existing asset system to make it more suited to a cohesive packaging system.
Creating a cohesive grid system created a balanced form across the carton and sleeve.
The addition of 1:1 scaled line drawings of the charging units was really a device that paid homage to the meticulous detail the EO product and engineering team put into their products.
Don’t take on more than you can handle.
It’s taken a while to learn how to work a little smarter and not harder.
The historical reference to the city where Sam (Obadiah founder) has made his home felt really appropriate, adding a subtle nod to place.
On the surface, both fonts appear quite serious and authoritative, but on closer look reveal a cheeky smile.
