Icon design is a rather unknown field.
We try to find features in the brand and translate them to the principles that define each icon.
It is very much like drawing a typeface.
the white on black choice was obvious as a close reference to the camera
the grey and brown-ish are just complementary colours chosen to give some warmth to the applications

Forma designed a refined visual identity and website for Barcelona-based product photographer Marçal Font. Drawing inspiration from the camera dial’s ‘Manual’ mode, the identity features a circular logo and a restrained palette of black, white, grey, and warm brown tones. The typography uses Fatype’s Beausite Classic to complement the minimalist aesthetic.
