Authenticity was a keyword from the start, and it was important for both us and the client that the restaurant was true to its origins.
We wanted the logo to be a natural part of Stockholm’s restaurant world, alluding to our previous references in a modern way by being confident and inviting at the same time.
We decided it was important to give the experience authenticity and character through variety, to not be perceived as too ‘branded’ or corporate.
To create a balanced identity with many colours and squiggles, the typography needed to be more strict and mature.
We felt the need of creating something special, something that truly stood out from the masses.
By focusing on the products and the happiness of creativity, we ended up with a wide array of colours and squiggles.
Stockholm-based studio 25AH created a tactile, modernist-inspired identity for family-owned restaurant Italiano. The rebrand draws from Italian shop signage and wayfinding, combining Buzz and Founders Grotesk typefaces with a deep red palette and whimsical illustrations by Marcus Oakley. The result is a warm, authentic brand experience that balances physical craftsmanship with contemporary design sensibilities.
Stockholm-based studio 25AH rebranded Swedish art supplier Pen Store with a vibrant and flexible identity that celebrates creativity. The new design uses TIGHTYPE’s Sneak typeface and a lively colour palette to reflect the joy of artistic expression. Photography by Linus Morales and Ollie Nordh complements the playful visual system.
