It was important for the client to not completely lose their original brand, having built a very loyal audience for their commitment to caring for their homes like they would their own, as that’s how they started.
The original platform Rhombus built in 2020 was branded using the UWE core identity. After receiving so much positive feedback Rhombus were given the opportunity to create a dedicated brand identity for it, as well redesign the site to tie in with the visual direction.

The Brand Identity’s June 2024 edition of The Edit spotlights five new branding projects from studios Anak, Navarra.is, Rhombus Studio, North, and PORTO ROCHA. The featured work spans industries from coffee and gaming to insurance and Web3, showcasing character-driven storytelling, bold color palettes, and human-centered design. Each project reflects a distinct approach to rebranding and visual identity, emphasizing creativity and purpose-driven design.
Rhombus Studio rebranded UWE's Showcase graduate platform and redesigned its website following the return of the physical End of Year Show in 2023. Led by UWE alumnus and Rhombus creative director James Ratcliffe, the identity uses a minimalist white-cube gallery aesthetic, monochrome palette, and Suisse typography to foreground student work and support an expanded programme of digital and physical content.
