- The Atlantic transforms 169 years of print into festival branding
The Atlantic’s in-house design team created the 2026 Atlantic Festival identity by digitising and recombining 169 years of archival magazine ornaments, borders and mastheads. The system pairs imperfect, black archival-style graphics and Garamond/Atlantic typography with vivid colour fields, while Mallandrich developed layered ocean-inspired motion for animated applications.
