Motion Design for Ricola
Found Studio partnered with Wolff Olins and Ricola to create a living expression of the brand’s Swiss Alpine heritage and natural ingredients. A master Alpine environment provides the flexible foundation for the new global key visual. Within it, Ricola’s familiar R becomes an ecosystem of detailed botanical herbs, bringing the graphic identity into a natural setting. Refined surface textures and dynamic simulations combine close-up plant detail with the larger scale of snow-covered mountains. Found developed a procedural approach to constructing leaves and petals, alongside AI-assisted terrain work in Gaea for seasonal mountain realism. The resulting visual system joins botanical movement and environmental flows, allowing Ricola’s existing letterform to carry both the intimacy of its ingredients and the scale of its Alpine setting.
