Studio Yukiko created campaigns for HKW’s Sonic Pluriverse, a Berlin festival exploring musical cultures and exchange. The project brings together editions including Terapia, Bass Cultures and Global Echoes of Gnawa. Expressive typography, rhythmic compositions and distinct visual references translate each curatorial theme into a campaign, from speaker stacks to forms inspired by dance and Gnawa graphic culture.
Studio Yukiko is the Berlin-based creative agency associated with Bwa Kayiman at Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW). The programme is rooted in the legacy of the Haitian Revolution and takes its name from the 1791 Bois Caïman ceremony. It brings together artists, thinkers, activists and communities through performances, conversations, artistic interventions, music and collective gatherings addressing liberation, solidarity and collective life.
Studio Last conceived a newspaper supplement for Haus der Kulturen der Welt’s DAS ANTHROPOZÄN-PROJEKT exhibition. Commissioned by Tempus Corporate, the publication explored the Anthropocene thesis and was distributed as an insert in the German weekly newspaper Die Zeit in 2016.
