Commission Studio designed a limited-edition book chronicling Flipper's Roller Boogie Palace, the influential Los Angeles roller rink and nightclub active from 1979 to 1981. The publication brings together skate-culture history, vintage photography, and the disco-punk energy of the venue through neon and silver printing, a screen-printed library jacket, and a mirror-gold sticker.
Commission Studio rebranded Flipper's Roller Boogie Palace as an 1980s roller-rink revival, drawing on its Los Angeles heritage and iconic original logo. The identity extended across a custom typeface, skatewear, merchandise, luxury skates, campaign imagery, social channels, website, and rink pro-shop.
