For Boothclub’s third location, a bright-red photo-booth installation transformed a central space at Westfield Mall of the Netherlands into a shareable mini-club. Pulsing lights, music and an inviting emergency-button-like exterior created a cultural hangout that produces more than 200 photo strips daily.
Hear The Youth developed Boothclub’s case around authentic self-expression through analog photography. Positioned as an antidote to filtered social media culture, Boothclub invites young people to capture themselves in a raw, unfiltered way at its dockside photo booth. The project emphasizes realness, self-love, and simplicity, presenting the booth as a space where natural beauty can be rediscovered. According to the case study, Boothclub gained strong attention from the start without traditional marketing, relying instead on its purpose and distinct aesthetic to attract crowds.
